Canadian Electrical Installation Standards (CEIS)

CECA has released 35 Canadian Electrical Installation Standards to promote consistency and best practices for electrical construction. Adopted from the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), National Electrical Installation Standards™ (NEIS™) in the United States, these NEIS™ have been reviewed by a Canadian technical committee formed by CECA to Canadianize the standards by referencing the requirements of Canadian Standards Association (CSA) C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CEC, Part I) and the methods used for electrical installations across Canada and to find opportunities to harmonize with the United States, where possible.

CEIS™ are intended to improve communication and consistency among designers, engineers, general contractors, specifiers, purchasers, and suppliers of electrical construction services. They define a minimum baseline of quality and workmanship for installing electrical products and systems. CEIS™ are intended to be referenced in contract documents for electrical construction projects.

All volumes are three hole punched to be able to insert into binders.

Full sets come with two protective binders with printed cover inserts.
